Benromach – Contrasts: Virgin Oak (70cl, 46%)

Benromach Contrasts Virgin Oak is a limited Speyside single malt, matured in virgin American oak casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The fresh oak brings dried banana, creamy butterscotch and Seville orange, alongside toasted malt, spice and the distillery's gently smoky character. The nose is fragrant dried banana with freshly squeezed lemon and soft vanilla fudge. On the palate, Seville orange zest meets rich butterscotch and smooth smoke. The finish is long-lasting citrus with lingering mature oak.
