Benromach Heritage 1975 is a single cask Speyside single malt from the distillery at Forres, bottled at 54.6% in a 70cl bottle.
It is described as a rich, layered dram, with stewed apples, winter spices and caramelised brown sugar on the nose, alongside beeswax and a touch of orange.
On the palate, creamy milk chocolate and bitter orange give way to stewed plum, red apple, dry tobacco and charred oak. The finish is long, with citrus, strawberry, cream and a soft, lingering smoke.
