Benromach Organic Old Label is a Speyside single malt certified by the UK Soil Association and described as the first fully organic Scotch whisky. It is made from organic Scottish barley, matured in virgin American oak and bottled at 43% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is fresh, with sweet vanilla, ripe fruit, citrus zest, toasted malt and green apple. The palate is creamy, with soft pepper, butterscotch, ground coffee, dried banana and toffee. The finish is long, with aniseed, cocoa powder and wood shavings.
