Benromach Peat Smoke 2009 is a single malt Scotch whisky made in small batches from heavily peated barley.
It is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, which sit alongside the peat in the style of the bottling.
The nose is fragrant, with vanilla. On the palate come lemon sherbet and apricot, and the finish carries the smoke of bonfire embers.
