Benromach Peat Smoke is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
Benromach was founded in 1898 by Duncan MacCallum, then owner of Ben Nevis distillery, and FW Brickmann, a spirits merchant. It closed when Brickmann's company went bankrupt after the whisky boom ended, and production resumed in 1912. Gordon & MacPhail bought the distillery in 1993 and spent almost five years rebuilding it. Prince Charles reopened it exactly 100 years after its founding.
