Benromach – Single Cask Last Call Whisky Podcast 2015 Cask #725 (70cl)

This is a single cask Benromach, selected in collaboration with the Last Call Whisky Podcast. It was distilled in 2015 at Benromach Distillery, matured in a single oak cask and bottled at cask strength. The whisky shows Benromach's hand-crafted Speyside character, with rich malt sweetness and subtle peat smoke. The nose is honeyed malt with light heather smoke, dried orchard fruit, vanilla and citrus zest. On the palate, stewed apples and creamy vanilla sit alongside oak spice, soft bonfire smoke and black pepper. The finish is long and warming, with sweet malt, dry oak tannins and delicate peat smoke.
