Berry Bros. & Rudd Berry's Perspective No. 1 21 Years

Berry's Perspective No. 1 is a 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Berry Bros. & Rudd. It belongs to the Perspective Series, in which master blender Doug McIvor worked with photographer Lindsay Robertson to bring art and whisky together. The accompanying image shows a scene at Sandwood Bay on the north-west coast of Scotland. The blend is built around sherried whiskies from Speyside malts, which give it its fruity character. The nose has sherried dried fruit, rich chocolate, a touch of leather and generous baking spices. The palate moves from creamy vanilla to firm oak, with fresh and dried fruit and a hint of honey. The finish is long and creamy, with a little tannic oak and sherry.
