A single cask Glenlossie from Berry Bros & Rudd, from 2010 and bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 50.5%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a first fill ex-bourbon cask.
The whisky is described as huge and muscular, with a wood-forward style that suits cask strength.
The nose offers spiced creme brulee, fresh apples, lime zest, vanilla pods and clove. The palate has fresh shortbread, wood spice, fresh fruit and a touch of new leather, and cinnamon and cloves linger on the finish.
