This is a single malt Scotch from Williamson, a distillery on the Kildalton coast at the southern tip of Islay. It was bottled at 58.1% ABV from the 2013 vintage, in a 70cl bottle.

The nose offers dried fruit, sherried raisins and hints of dark chocolate, with a touch of sea breeze. The palate brings roasted nuts, blackberries and treacle, with peat smoke and gentle spice. The finish is long, with toffee, leather and a little sea salt.
