Bib & Tucker – 8 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Bib & Tucker 8 Year Old is the Tennessee brand's first Bottled-in-Bond bourbon, bottled at 100 proof. It was distilled in the spring 2018 season and aged for eight years in new American oak, twice the four-year minimum the designation requires. The recipe is a Tennessee high-rye mash, mellowed through charcoal by the Lincoln County Process before ageing, with corn sourced mainly within 100 miles of the distillery. It was developed by Apprentice Blender James Joseph under Master Blender Alan Kennedy. The nose is vanilla custard over seasoned oak. The palate brings crème brûlée, leather and hickory, then dried apricot and honeysuckle. The finish is sweet oak, allspice and orange blossom.
