Bib & Tucker Classic 6 Year Old Bourbon is a small-batch, non-chill-filtered Tennessee bourbon from 35 Maple Street Spirits, in a 75cl bottle. The name comes from a 19th-century Southern phrase meaning dressed in one's finest.
It is double-distilled using a column still and an antique copper pot still, from a high-rye mashbill. The whisky is aged for a minimum of six years in lightly charred (#1 char) American white oak barrels.
The nose has vanilla bean, dark chocolate, baking spices and toasted oak, with hints of dried apricot and orange jam. The palate offers caramel, toffee, brown sugar and ginger spice. The finish is medium-long, with clove, vanilla, butterscotch and a touch of menthol.
