Bib & Tucker Double Char is a small batch Tennessee bourbon, aged six years and bottled at 44% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is aged twice. The first six years are spent in new white American oak in the hills of Tennessee. The whisky then goes into a second new barrel, heavily charred and smoked, for at least five months. The double char method was inspired by food cooked over an open flame.
The nose offers a touch of smoke, toasted oak and dulce de leche with cinnamon and clove. On the palate come vanilla and sugar maple wrapped in white smoke, with sweet corn. The finish is medium to long, with oak, white smoke and vanilla.
