The nose opens with intense peat smoke, maritime notes, hints of iodine and a touch of brine. On the palate it is full-bodied and oily, with a warming feel. Peat smoke dominates, alongside charred oak, bonfire smoke, roasted barley, dark chocolate, black pepper, a hint of citrus zest and a subtle vanilla sweetness.
