Big Peat Rum Cask is a blended malt in the Thropaigeach Edition, a limited bottling made for the Feis Ile festival. Thropaigeach is Gaelic for tropical, and the whisky was matured in ex-rum casks.
The rum casks bring fruity notes of banana and grilled pineapple to the sweet peat smoke Big Peat is known for. It was bottled at natural cask strength, in a 70cl bottle.
