An 8 year old single cask whisky from Bivrost, and the first age-stated, cask strength release from the Aurora Spirit distillery in northern Norway. Cask #137 was distilled on 6 June 2018 and matured in ex-aquavit and seasoned Oloroso sherry casks.
It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.7%, and 250 individually numbered bottles were released.
The nose is sherry-led, with dried fruit, toasted oak and a herbal lift. The palate is full and intense, with sherry sweetness, fig, sultanas and mint, and the finish is long, warming and gently spicy, with dried fruit and a subtle herbal note.
