Bivrost Nidavellir Arctic Single Malt Second Release (50cl, 75%)

Nidavellir is the second release from Bivrost, the brand of the Aurora Spirit distillery in Arctic Norway. It is a single malt in a 50cl bottle, from a series themed on the nine worlds of Norse mythology. This is bottle 1,513 of 2,496. The spirit was aged for 32 months in ex-Heaven Hill bourbon casks, then finished for 5 to 6 months in ex-Islay whisky casks. Those casks had first held Pinot Noir in a New Zealand winery for 12 months. It was distilled from pilsner malt and Nordic barley, in a triple distillation using a copper pot and column still.
