Bivrost – Yggdrasil 2026 Release (50cl, 46%)

Bivrost Yggdrasil 2026 is a Norwegian single malt made in the Arctic Circle, at the foot of the Lyngen Alps. It is the distillery's vintage release, intended to become an annual series of Norse mythology-inspired editions, and takes its name from the mythical ash tree that binds the Nine Worlds together. The whisky was matured for four to six years in Oloroso sherry-seasoned casks and in-house charred barrels. It is bottled at 46% in 50cl bottles, limited to 14000 numbered bottles. The nose offers dried fruit, orange blossom, bonfire smoke and an old Spanish bodega. The palate is velvety, with toasted oak, caramelised mandarin, roasted nuts and delicate peat smoke.
