This is Black Bottle 10 Year Old, a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from single malts from Islay, the Highlands and Speyside, with a touch of grain whisky, and matured in oak casks for at least ten years.
The nose is smoky, with peat and sea salt alongside honey, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate is rich and creamy, with dark chocolate, coffee and spiced fruit cake. The finish is long and warming, with a gentle smokiness.
