Black Bottle Double Cask is a blended Scotch whisky matured in red wine and sherry casks, in a 70cl bottle at 46.3% ABV. The Black Bottle blend dates from 1879, when three brothers created it. Its trademark is a deep black glass bottle, made specially by a German manufacturer. The bottle is regarded as a symbol of the courage and uncompromising spirit of its creators.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
