Black Bowmore 1964-1993 29 Year Old First Edition (70cl, 50%)

This is the first edition of Black Bowmore 1964, a 29-year-old Islay single malt bottled by the distillery at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1993 after 29 years in a batch of sherry casks. The first release of the series, it is remembered for tropical fruit and chewy peat set on Oloroso sherrywood, and for its combination of power and complexity.
