Black Bull 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 50% ABV, made from equal parts malt and grain.
The malt is Highland and Speyside whisky matured in refill ex-sherry European oak butts and refill ex-bourbon American oak hogsheads. The grain is Lowland whisky matured in refill ex-bourbon American oak barrels.
It is described as having a bit of rough and tumble that ends silky smooth.
