Black Bull Faldo 30 Year Old - Tale of Two Legends (70cl, 50%)

Black Bull Faldo 30 Year Old is a limited blended Scotch whisky bottled by Duncan Taylor in a 70cl bottle at 50%, without chill-filtration or added colour. It belongs to the Tale of Two Legends series, a tribute to Sir Nick Faldo and his 30 European Tour wins. Euan C. Shand chose malt and old grain whiskies that had matured for at least 30 years, in sherry casks. The youngest whisky began maturing in 1992, the year of Faldo's third Open Championship win at Muirfield. The nose recalls rich fruit cake with almonds, with a fine note of rose. Warming Christmas spices and a mix of citrus fruits meet on the palate, and the finish brings dried fruit with gentle spice.
