Black Bull Nick Faldo Edition 18 Year Old (70cl, 50%)

A blended Scotch whisky from Black Bull, bottled by Duncan Taylor for the Nick Faldo Edition. It is 18 years old, matured twice in oak casks and bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour. This is a limited edition. The number 18 follows the golfer Sir Nick Faldo, born on 18 July 1957. He turned professional at 18, won his first major at Muirfield in 1987 with 18 consecutive pars, and took his fourth major at St Andrews in 1990 with a score of 18 under par. The nose brings dried fruit, creamy yoghurt and plums with a sweet toffee coating. On the palate, soft caramel meets cinnamon and clove, with dry sherry notes. The finish is long, with lingering spice and creamy vanilla.
