Black Douglas is a blended malt Scotch whisky, bringing together Highland and Speyside whiskies. It is bottled at 40% in a large 1.125 litre bottle.
The name honours Sir James Douglas, and the blend is meant to reflect his strength and character. It is described as complex enough to be challenging, yet smooth enough to be rewarding.
