Black & White 1949 Blended Scotch Whisky US Import (75cl)

A blended Scotch whisky from Black & White, bottled in approximately 1949 under the royal warrant of H.M. The King. It was shipped to the US market, in a 75cl bottle, an old measure of four fifths of a quart. The spring cap closure is in excellent condition and the fill level is still high in the neck. The rear label is considerably damaged. The Black & White name became the brand's official title in 1902, taken from its distinctive monochrome packaging. The nose is candied caramel with a hint of smoke. The palate is smooth and warming with earthy peat, and the long finish stays earthy, ending with hints of mushroom.
