Black & White is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1990s, from James Buchanan & Company. This bottle holds 1 litre at 43% ABV.
The nose is malty and caramelised, with sponge cake, toast and roasted peanuts, then green apple, soft citrus and a trace of peat. The palate is creamy with good body, showing honey, caramel and stewed white fruit such as apple and apricot tart, balanced by young oak and a smokiness stronger than on the nose.
It finishes medium to long, dry and lightly smoky, with sweet vanilla.
