Black & White (1L, 40%)

A blended Scotch whisky in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 40%. It combines malt and grain whiskies and has no added colouring. The brand was introduced in London in 1879 by James Buchanan & Co and takes its name from its black and white label. The two terriers on the label, a black Scottish terrier and a white West Highland white terrier, were designed by Buchanan himself in the 1890s. The nose is soft and malty, with vanilla and a hint of fresh wood. The palate is smooth and balanced, with toffee sweetness and a light fruity touch. The finish is medium in length, gently spicy and warm.
