A blended Scotch whisky from Black & White, bottled in the 1970s by James Buchanan and Co. It is bottled at 35% ABV, which is 70 degrees proof. The brand was first produced by James Buchanan & Co Ltd, the makers of Buchanan's. It began life under the name House of Commons and picked up the nickname Black and White because of its use of colour. Shortly before the turn of the 20th century the name was changed and the black and white dog motif was created.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
