Black & White Petaca – 1960s (75cl, 40%)

Black & White Petaca is a blended whisky from the United Kingdom, in a 75cl bottle at 40% abv, dating from the 1960s. The nose is complex, with the aged notes typical of an old bottle: beeswax, old books, orange peel and a subtle medicinal peat smoke, alongside malty grain biscuit. The texture is waxy and oily, with wild honey, dry hay, toasted caramel, a slight touch of soot and gentle oak spice. The finish is medium to long and pleasantly dry, leaving yellow fruit and old, sherry-soaked wood.
