Black & White Premium 12 Years Old is a blended Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. This is a 1990s edition.
The nose is rich and intense, with caramel, toffee and dried fruit such as raisins, figs and cherries, along with sweet vanilla, leather and a light breeze of peat smoke. The palate is silky and full-bodied, with honeyed sweetness, malt, toasted caramel and dark chocolate, then nutmeg, almond and polished oak.
The finish is long and warm, with soft caramel, a little fruit and echoes of light smoke.
