Blackadder Chimera is a blended malt Scotch whisky from the independent bottler Blackadder International, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The Chimera range vats selected single malts together, and this release brings malt, fruit, oak, spice and a little smoke into one balanced whisky.
The nose offers dried fruit and honeyed malt with vanilla, toasted oak and a subtle smoky note. On the palate, sweet vanilla and caramel lead to dark chocolate, gentle citrus, warming spice and toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, with smoky sweetness, spice and a gently earthy dryness.
