This is a single cask Royal Brackla from Blackadder's Raw Cask range, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2018 after ten years in a hogshead. It comes at 58.2% ABV, unfiltered and undyed, from an edition of 329 bottles.
On the nose there is light honey, soft malt, apple and a gentle spice. The palate is full but controlled, with creamy malt, vanilla, light wood and a touch of spice. The finish is long and warm.
