It begins with the distillery's own small-batch bourbon, to which pecan essence and Muscovado brown sugar from Mauritius are added. The distillery buys locally grown Texas grain exclusively from TexMalt of Fort Worth.
The distillery describes pecan essence alongside the Muscovado, which brings out molasses and caramel, with notes of vanilla and a woody brown pecan flavour throughout.
