Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

Blade and Bow is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in a 75cl size and made as a blend of straight bourbons. The story behind it is that it includes a small amount of the last bourbon produced at the Stitzel-Weller distillery before it closed in 1992. Diageo re-opened the distillery in 2014. Vanilla runs through the nose and palate, followed by almond and a hint of dried apricot. The finish is lively and fairly dry, with grapefruit peel, leather and chamomile tea.
