This is a 13 year old Lowland single malt from Bladnoch, distilled in 1987 and matured in refill bourbon barrels. It was bottled in 2000 at 40% ABV by Gordon & Macphail for its Connoisseurs Choice range, and the label on the front carries a map. Bladnoch stands on the banks of the River Bladnoch near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway, and is Scotland's most southern distillery. Connoisseurs Choice was launched in the mid-1960s and shows single malts from across Scotland. This one is a gentle, well-balanced malt.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
