Bladnoch – Flora & Fauna 10 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Bladnoch (Lowland). Aged 10 years, bottled at 43% ABV, 70cl. Another short-lived Flora & Fauna, this was the final standard United Distillers release of Bladnoch before the distillery was decommissioned in 1993. Despite selling the distillery the following year, Diageo bottled some stock from the distillery as late as 2001. When they had sold the distillery to Raymond Armstrong in 1994, it was as a property, not a distillery, and had not included the warehoused stock or brands. Armstrong did not resume distilling there until 2000. A distillery with a turbulent history, punctuated by numerous ownership changes. It is currently part of the Pure Scot Ltd holdings of Australian entrepreneur and yoghurt mogul, David Prior. Although historically operated for the provision of blends, it is now focussed on its single malt brand.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
