Bladnoch Master Distiller's Waterfall 2022 Edition is Batch 3, a Lowland single malt finished in a Port pipe. It is the third of five annual releases supervised by Master Distiller Dr Nick Savage, in which the whiskies are aged similarly but finished differently. Bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle, natural colour and non-chill filtered, it is one of 1000 bottles.
The nose offers raisins, lemons and subtle orange peel. The palate has dried apricots with lemon cake, and the finish is medium with a sweet freshness and a slight warming.
