Blanton's Gold Edition Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey (70cl)

A Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled from a single barrel in a 70cl bottle. The Gold Edition was originally created for export markets. It is matured in charred American oak barrels and bottled at a higher strength than the original Blanton's release, with each barrel selected individually. The result is a richer, more powerful take on the brand's style. The nose offers caramel, dark honey, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate has rich toffee, cinnamon and dried citrus with deeper oak, and the finish is long and warming with spice, vanilla and charred oak.
