Blanton's Gold Edition is a single barrel bourbon bottled at 51.5% ABV. It is made under the Blanton's name and sold with the brand's wax-sealed closure. The nose opens with spicy rye and tobacco, followed by caramel and honey mixed with dark fruit and citrus. On the palate, rye, tobacco and honey lead, with charred oak and vanilla rounding out the flavour into a very long, harmonious finish.
