Blanton's Single Barrel #14 River Edition is a 2023 Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50%, in a 70cl bottle. It was dumped on 21 July 2023 from barrel 14, warehouse H, rick 40, and selected by Blanton's with La Maison du Whisky. The edition honours the rivers running through Frankfort and Paris: the Kentucky River and the Seine.
The nose has maple syrup or honey, vanilla bean, orange and stewed berries. The palate brings caramel, English toffee, warm baking spices, butter and sugar cookies, and the medium-long finish stays with caramel and toffee over a spicy backbone.
