Blanton's Straight From The Barrel is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at cask strength, 60.1%, in a 70cl bottle. It is unfiltered and uncut, and it can be taken neat or with a splash of water.
On the nose there is dark chocolate, caramel and butter, with earthy walnut and hazelnut beneath. The palate brings warm vanilla, oak, toasted nuts and rich spice, with hints of butterscotch or honey. The finish is deep and resonant.
