Blanton's The Original Single Barrel Bourbon (70cl, 46.5%)

This is a single barrel bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Kentucky, bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is taken from the middle sections of the barrels in Warehouse H, which were once set aside for ambassadors, dignitaries and Colonel Blanton's family and friends. It is described as the world's first single barrel bourbon. The nose is creamy vanilla with caramel and butterscotch, over baking spices such as clove, nutmeg and cinnamon. The taste is sweet, with citrus and oak.
