A 19-year-old blended malt Scotch whisky from Elixir Distillers, drawn from a single sherry butt. It was distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2020 at 45% ABV, without added colour and without chill-filtration.
It belongs to The Whisky Trail Country series and carries one of the country-music designs used for the range.
The nose offers raisins, dark berries, nuts, cocoa and sherry. On the palate come dried fruit, chocolate, spice and ripe oak, followed by a long, fruity and spicy finish with a slight dryness.
