This is a Macallan 35 Year Old from Blind Summit, finished in Barbados rum casks and bottled at 46.4%. Only 30 bottles were released.
The nose is toasted coconut, molasses and sultana. The palate brings dark fruit, charred oak and orange peel over vanilla and well-integrated wood. The finish is long and dry, with leather, tobacco and black pepper.
