Blood Oath Pact No. 9 is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon bottled at 49.3% in a 75cl bottle. It is a union of three rye-recipe bourbons: one aged 16 years, one aged 12 years and one aged 7 years.
The 7-year-old is finished in Oloroso sherry casks from the Sherry Triangle region in south-west Spain, and these casks give the bottling its distinctive flavour notes.
The aroma is of sweet sherry, and the palate brings dark fruit, molasses, chocolate and tobacco.
