Blue Run High Rye is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 55.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It is the first Blue Run release for which Jim Rutledge, a member of the Bourbon Hall of Fame, serves as contracted Master Distiller. On earlier Blue Run bottlings, apart from Golden Rye, he acted as Liquid Advisor.
It is described as a caramel-led bourbon with baking spices and a frame of toasted oak, finishing on stone fruit and black pepper.
