Bolgheri Superiore DOC - Casa di Terra

A red wine expressing the rigorous and refined character of the Bolgheri denomination. It is made with a careful selection of typical local varieties, often Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, and ageing in wood adds complexity and depth. The nose shows ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with spicy notes and light balsamic hints. On the palate it is full and well balanced, with fine tannins and a long, savoury finish. It pairs well with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
