Booker's Bluegill Creek Batch 2016-04 is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled uncut and unfiltered at cask strength in a 750ml bottle. It is the fourth named batch of 2016. The name recalls a fishing spot near the Beam family property that Booker Noe loved. Booker Noe, Jim Beam's master distiller from 1965 to 1992, created Booker's in 1988, and since 2016 the Noe family has given each batch a personal name. The nose brings vanilla, caramel and warm grain spice. The palate is bold and full, and the finish is long and warming.
