A 12-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Boone County Distilling Co., bottled from a single barrel, B0528, privately selected by Lucky's Market, a Colorado-based specialty grocer.
The bourbon is MGP-sourced, made from a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It is bottled at cask strength, 55.36% ABV (110.72 proof), and is non-chill filtered.
The nose has warm caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, rye spice and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with toffee, brown sugar, charred oak and cinnamon. The finish is long and warm, with lingering sweetness and oak.
