A 12-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Boone County Distilling Co., bottled from a single barrel, B0583, privately selected by The Party Source. It belongs to the Ghost Collection.
The bourbon is MGP-sourced, made from a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It is bottled at cask strength, 54.5% ABV (109 proof), and is non-chill filtered.
The nose offers warm caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, gentle rye spice and dried fruit. On the palate come toffee, brown sugar, charred oak and cinnamon, with good weight and little heat. The finish is long and warm, with lingering sweetness and oak.
